Antonio’s Joint is a personal blog created for the love of music. This is not a gossip site. It’s my personal views on music (mainly R&B). I created Antonio’s joint during spring break of 2017. I was supposed to go away but the snow storm kept me in New York. I needed something to help get me through the week. The idea of a blog hit me after I wanted to post a tweet about music that was longer than 140 characters. I figured if I need more than 140 characters to express something it deserved more than a tweet. I’m not much of a talker but when it comes to music I can talk for hours. I tend to do that a lot with my friends and other music lovers. The name “Antonio’s Joint” came from one of my favorite songs. I wanted that name to represent me and have a 90’s feel as well. It came from the song “Mary’s joint.” I’ve always thought that song title was unique because it has nothing to do with the song. Mary’s joint is not said once on that song so it just stood out to me. Overall my goal with this blog is to update people on the music I’m bumping; whether it be mainstream or underground.
