A-1 Record Shop

I decided to get some records on Friday. Just got paid and there wasn't shit to do so why not go to my favorite record shop A-1 records? The moment I walked in there I was relaxed and felt at ease. I could spend hours there without touching my phone. A-1 is a home away from home for me.

I came across these two. I only got Thriller though. I thought the Mary & K-Ci was one was from their live performance at Uptown unplugged but it wasn't so I didn't get it. I got Thriller because that's a classic and I had it freshman year but somehow I " lost" it. I think somebody stole it but it's whatever.

I haven’t big to many record shops but A1 is definitely my favorite. Its not the biggest but it’s the most comfortable place in general i've been in a minute. I like that they have a very diverse music collection. Ive been to record shops that only had like one crate dedicated to R&B and like the newest album they had was Justin Timberlakes 20/20 vision. A1 has record players where you can listen to the vinyl before you buy it. Not all record shops have that. so that’s also a plus. And its located in soho one of my favorites places to be in New York. I take all my friends there and recommend everybody to go.
