Day 10: A song that makes you sad

So again y'all know that I love to be in my baggggg. You would've thought that this post would've been easy but nah. There are too many songs that make me sad. But I thought about which song just hits home. It has to be Alicia keys Like you'll never see me again. Not too many things can make me cry I'm a dude and from the Bronx but bruh this song will have you shed a tear. I remember this song came on after my aunt died and it was a spiritual life changing experience while listening to that song. I will never forget that. Thats why I love music because its more than just words and a beat. For me Music is a religion, a drug, and my first love. I live and die by music because it moves me like nothing else in this world ever has. But back to the song. This song makes me appreciate life. She's literally saying embrace me like you know you will never embrace me again. It makes me wonder what would I do with or for somebody if I knew that this was my last day. Life is literally too short to take anything for granted and to be alive is a reward in itself. Every time I hear this song I think of the music video. It goes perfectly with the song which I also love because music videos dead don't be going with what the song is about. I hate that!!!

Overall this song doesn't put me in a bad space but makes me sad because death is so foreign and mysterious but I know that its guaranteed for everyone and it just makes me reflect on that.
