Day 20: A song that reminds you of your mom

When I think of a song that reminds me of my mother I think of like her favorite song but she doesn't really have one. She's a culture vulture. Meaning she only listen to the music that's poppin at the moment. But the obvious traditional song that reminds me of my mother is Dear Mama by Pac. This song is like the definition of a single black mother from the hood. I can see some of our struggles in this song. I love this song cause it's rare to hear a black male talk about a woman in a positive light in hip hop. This song also teaches me how to be a good parent to any future children I'll have. I believe that the little things matter in life and his mother did the little things that made him into a successful conscious man. Same with not only my mother but father as well.
