Day 23: A song that you think everybody should listen to

There are multiple songs that I think everybody needs to hear for many reasons. Certain topics need to be broadcasted and the people singing these songs have the power to relay the message. The songs I want people to listen to the most are the ones that talk about the social problems. For example, Marvin Gayes Whats going on? Or Tupac's Keep ya head up, Mary's No more drama etc. The message in those songs are needed to better our people. Those issues that they're talking about are real and is killing us literally. In addition I love songs that encourage you to do and be better which is why I chose I believe I can fly for day 23. I'm a strong believer in you create your own destiny and that you can do whatever you put your mind too. This song played a major part in molding that mindset of mine. Along with songs like the worlds greatest and I can by Nas I was encouraged to dream wild and freely at a young age. When I listen to this song I think about how far I have come as a person. I grown and my dreams have grown. They both continue to do so because I believe that I can achieve whatever I want. I feel bad for people who don't have that same mindset and are so boxed in to their surroundings. There's so much more than the block, smoking, and having kids. I want people to see that. I also think about how far my people have come. Like we deadass had a black president in a country where black is looked down on. I believe that we have come so far but we have so much more road to travel with this song and songs like it I know I can keep fighting.
