Heavy rotation: Gold Link

Gold Links At What Cost is wavy as fuck to me. Raphaella played the album for me from the beginning and at first I wasn't really feeling it but then Hands on your knees came on. I started vibing ode hard. Hands on your knees reminds me of a 90's house party. I had that song on repeat for a good hour when I first heard it. The crazy part is its like a interlude. The middle of the album is my favorite part of the album. I think I like this album because its not your typical rap album. I hear a little bit of my life in it in addition to it being different. It also sounds like its from somewhere else. like theres features throughout this album that I know such as Jazmine Sullivan and Mya and I didn't even recognize their voices. I was dead trying to figure out where the fuck he found Mya at? & she still sound good tho.

I hate myself because I passed judgment on this album and I actually like it. I would see people posting about it and just acknowledge the album artwork which is fire but I would brush the music part off. I don't know why but I figured that I wouldn't like the music but this album dead ass makes me want to see what the DMV is like. I just get a different vibe thats not east coast or west coast and I love it. I remember after Raph put me on I played this album for like two days straight. Thats what life is about sharing and passing on information to better someones life and music is an example of that.

I watched a few interviews and this dude is mad funny. The shit he says and do is shit I say and do. I'm def bout to catch up on his old work and look into tour dates. The way he got his name is hilarious also. Lastly it is an inspiration to see someone so young (22) that also looks like me follow their dreams and become successful at it.
