On repeat: Addictive to love

I discovered this song after watching cece's being on centric tv. They played it and my mother was singing along. I was shocked because my mother doesn't listen to gospel music at all. They only played a small part of the song and the little bit of lyrics I heard sparked some interest in me. Right there I knew this was something that I needed to hear. So I did some searching and I've been hooked since. First lets talk about when the beat dropped in the beginning of the song. This is another one of them songs that I've played for people and they brushed it off until that beat dropped. I love the rock influence in there also. I find it so weird that I love this song along with gospel music in general because i'm not religious at all but there is a connection. More specifically I love this song because it sounds like R&B. This could easily be turned into a love song. Replace a couple of he's with you and you'd have a classic 90's R&B song. I said that to an old head and they said they had a little controversy over their music for that very reason. I've been playing this song every day since I added it. Its now number 2 on my top 25 played songs playlist in apple music. I eventually want to listen to more of their music but between the group and their individual work imma be here for a minute. So I started with Cece's newest album and its pretty good. Its a old vibe with a lot of strings (my favorite) and of course she sounds amazing. I've always admired their voices even before I knew what good music was suppose to sound like. Long story short my kids will be cleaning to this song on Sundays.
