The Greatest Day Ever
My greatest day ever experience was pretty fun. It was way better than expected. I thought I was just going there to chill due to the fact that I barely knew anybody on the lineup. But not only was the performances lit they had rides. For those of you who don't know what The greatest day ever is it is a two day music festival that took place in the Bronx.
So I went with my friend Pursyah a.k.a. the bootleg kim possible a.k.a. the great value Sza. if you scroll down you'll see the comparisons. LMAO she was dumb hype cause people wanted to take pictures of her and shit. like calm down sis. please.
But yea we got there at like 4 and it was dead still empty. We was like damn we on white people time. Then we got on rides and guess what? they was free. I was not expecting rides in addition to them being free. We got on the ferris wheel like three times. and smoked one blunt every time we went up. That was the fastest ferris wheel I've ever been on. We went around like three times in a matter of two minutes. I thought they chilled for a little bit nope that shit kept moving. But we could only smoke when we got to the top because the workers was at the bottom. So every time we started coming down I would have to hide the blunt and act like nothing was going on LMAO. Then the edibles came and HIT. I was so smacked I bought a hot dog and a burger and bodied them both. They also had these blocks with graffiti on it and people used it as a back drop for their photos as you can see up there.
After I bodied that food we went inside to where the performances were. The first group that performed was "They." Pursyah said "They performing" I was like who? then pointed to the stage and I saw that it said they behind them LMAO. I was so confused. But they music actually bumped. Then they got a little political with the whole fuck Donald Trump (which you'll see in the video). I loved that. I believe that people in power have a civil duty to speak on issues and be a voice for people who don't have one. Not only because they're fans need it but because they wouldn't be in that position without the fans. its a scratch my back i'll scratch yours type of situation. But I digress. I'm not hear to talk social problems. Anywho Dj Esco came out next and basically performed songs he's worked on. He just had the whole place jumping. That was my favorite part of the night. he talked about being in jail in Dubai and meeting future after and transitioned it into one of his songs. That transition was wavy.
Overall I had a great time and i'm going back again next year to both days tho. I could've went to the second day but niggas was running on CP time. What happened was they was supposed to see if a ticket was going to work and if it did I was gunna pulp and use it but they was moving mad slow and I went back to school. I had to work the next day. Long story short they got in and i'm still tight. They had all the people that I really wanted to see. Like Gold Link, The Internet, and Post Malone. its hurts like hell cause I just started getting into those artist. But Pursyah went back and I literally skipped her whole snap story. Its whatever cause I know what to do for next time. oh and tell me how my other friend was on stage with Post Malone like how? who authorized that? Next year they gunna be paying me to review the whole thing. Just watch.
