Soundcloud playlist #1

My goal with this soundcloud playlist was to set an overall vibe for the site. In addition to bringing awareness to artist that I think are dope. Whether it be main stream of underground. Mostly underground. I'm fortunate enough to go to school with many talented people I'm also very blessed to be able to call them friends. I love that they're using their talents for good and putting positivity into the atmosphere. While at the same time keeping music and creativity alive.

The name of this blog is kind of a play off of Mary's song "Mary's Joint." So when I heard my bro Javins version of Western road flows I had to make that the opening. It felt like it was destined. Originally had another song but the moment I heard this I switched up the tracklist. I literally played it and by the time the song finished it was on the playlist and in the number one spot. Every other song is something that sparked thought, moved me, or represents my musical taste. For example, Danielle's Icarus is straight fire. I couldn't forget it after the first time I heard it. I felt like this song could've been sung by any singer today and wouldn't have made me feel the way it does to this day.

I don't know how long I'm going to keep this playlist up because I'm attached to it but a new one with a new layout should be coming soon.
