If only
Kayla put me on and I played this song for like three days straight after that. I would read the lyrics as I was listening to the song. I was instantly hooked. I felt like I was playing it too much so I'd play another song then go right back to If Only. I love this song!
I love how calming her voice is and how relaxing the overall song is. The lyrics are so simple but real and very related. If only is about an old breakup and how well she's doing now. SUPER RELATABLE. This song is so good that I dont want to hear any of her other music because if it doesn't live up to my exceptions i'll be devastated.
Then Kayla showed me her Colors video and I had that on repeat for at least two hours.
I love how free she is in this Colors video. She looks like she's having so much fun and loves what she's doing. I believe the greatest artist enjoy making music. They dont look at it as a job some look at it as an escape. They even look at it as being therapeutic. They dont do it for the fame or recognition. They do it for them. I also think that in life you have to be secure in whatever you're doing and who you are and everybody's opinion would be respected but wouldn't matter.
Just from watching this video and knowing the lyrics to this song I feel like she's grown as a person and has a story to tell. I'm excited to see where Raveena will be in two years. I would love to see her live.
